I keep my favourites for last

Alan and Manu, my main MÄR couple. This time Alan gets the polearm (and it's another lochaber axe, one of my faves ♥)

Manu's story, The Love Of Iron, takes place mostly during the First War Games. She is an Otherworlder, originally from South Auckland, New Zealand, who at seventeen years of age fell through a wild warp between the two worlds and into MÄR Heaven. She arrived in the wilds near Conlann Castle, a Lestavan army outpost in the North, and joined up with the Cross Guard group just before the War Games started. Despite her Otherworlder strength, she was useless with Ärms, so she never became a fighter in the War Games - they got her to look after their little collection of war orphans (Alviss included) instead

Manu has a rare ability called the love of iron, which allows her to negate any and all magic. Conversely, it means she can't use magic, and anyone she is touching can't use magic either. It is such an exceedingly rare ability that it takes a long time - almost six years - before anyone figures out that it's what her problem with magic is. After the Second War Games, when everyone finally had time to wind down and figure some shit out (and Alan finally got to know his son~) Dorothy did some digging and eventually concluded that Manu had the love of iron. Which is a fairly big thing...

I'll have to draw their aforementioned son at some stage. Padraig Wyatt, called 'Paddy' by just about everyone, five and three-quarters during the Second War Games. His existence comes as a surprise to pretty much everyone involved, since the last time anyone from the Cross Guard saw Manu after the First War was weeks before she herself figured out she was pregnant. He's blunt, fearless and adventurous, and learnt to swear from Manu (who is useless at censoring herself around kids XD). And he's later joined by four brothers and two sisters, because mediaeval contraception isn't too effective...

Manu and Alan are my fiery couple... probably my sexiest couple too Not sure why Manu ended up with such a revealing outfit relative to my usual, but hey, it was fun~♥
