...Yeah, I couldn't resist the title. It's like the most cliched quote ever, but Mari being a bit of a fusspot over her weight I just though it fitted.

The theme was to draw Shinji and Mari together doing something as a couple. Now, I've never been too hot on you usual sweet-couple pics, so I wanted to do something based in everyday life. To me, that sort of thing just seems like something the long-running couples do, the ones that are comfortable with each other as the way they are. Besides which, I much prefer the doing-something sort of pose to obviously posed poses, which is what most romance pictures turn out as in my opinion...

So, they're shopping. And Mari's just dropped a minefield of a question....

Here go my detailed backgrounds again. If you're wondering why the shop is missing a ceiling panel, it's because at the moment where I live, most shops have at least one or two holes like that XD (you can thank the earthquakes, haha~) I just couldn't resist it... ya know, it makes the ceiling a wee bit less boring. ^^ I like it anyway.

Mari's eyes are my favourite part of the entire picture though. Something about them just draws my attention.

First time drawing Shinji, and he turned out pretty decent!
